Saltare all'occhio

to catch somebody's eye

to say that something draws to much attention or that something has suddenly drawn attention.

Examples:

Il rosso del tuo vestito salta all'occhio!

The red of your dress is catching eyes!

Mi è saltato all'occhio il prezzo esagerato delle bibite e ho deciso di cambiare il ristorante.

I suddenly noticed the exaggerated price of drinks and I decided to go to another restaurant.
