To lose ones mind

to say that someone has become crazy or behaves in a senseless way.

Examples:

Ti sei forse bevuto il cervello? Se Giorgio ti vede, ti ammazza.

Did you lose your mind? If Giorgio sees you, he'll kill you.

Ormai non ragiona più: si è proprio bevuto il cervello!

He does not think straight any more: he is completely out of his mind!
